Accuracy of the Hearing Test

I was always curious with the accuracy of the hearing test. Here is the results:
Using an in-ear headset from Creative Aurvana In-Ear connected via a 2cc coupler to a professional SPL Meter in an Anechoic chamber.

Overall the accuracy is +/- 2.5dB with the sound at almost all frequency except at 8kHz.
The most accurate reading is at 1kHz with an average of +/- 0.05dB.
All the measurements are taking at room temperature condition in dB-SPL levels of 35,45,55,65,75,85,95 and 100.

  1. What is the unit of measurement for intensity or type of dB on the audiogram one receives after completing the iPhone app hearing test?
